The Natural Mosquito Repelling Lantern

This is the mosquito repellent that wards off mosquitoes with a natural, plant-based mist. Eliminating the need for chemical-based sprays, the device emits the floral scent of geraniol, an essential oil derived from lemongrass that naturally repels mosquitoes in an area up to 300' sq. Laboratory tests performed by a University of Florida entomologist proved geraniol to be more effective than DEET—the chemical in most bug repellents—at warding off biting insects. The unit attaches to a wall with the included hardware or sits on a table for inconspicuous protection from mosquitoes. The lantern’s four LED bulbs generate a soft glow and the included remote control allows users to set the mist to spray every 5, 7 1/2, or 10 minutes or turn the lights on or off from up to 15' away.
