Unlike most fish oil supplements on the market, these 1000mg supplements use a special coated soft gel that that helps prevent burping. An enteric coating applied to each soft gel delays the release of its contents until it reaches the small intestine, helping to reduce burping, fishy breath, and even nausea which are common side effects associated with taking fish oil supplements. Fish oil is one of the richest food sources of omega-3 fatty acids available and considered important nutrients for both heart and brain health.
