This is the waterproof hat that can withstand the wind-driven storms of a Nova Scotian Nor'easter. Made by Tilley Endurables, Canada's premier purveyor of travel clothing for over 25 years, its laminated 100% nylon exterior repels water while its seam-sealed interior guarantees your head will stay dry, even in the constant moisture of British Columbia's temperate rain forests. When rain ceases, you can zip open its built-in vent to allow air circulation through the mesh interior. In windy conditions, the hat ties on with a cord in the front and back of your head. Its sweatband wicks away moisture and its reflective piping is visible during heavy precipitation. Between storms, it provides a UPF 50+ rating--the maximum rating given--blocking 98% of the sun's harmful UVA/UVB rays. Includes a secret pocket in the crown. Khaki. Sizes S. (4 1/4 oz.)

To get the proper fit in a hat, we recommend that you measure your head to determine your proper size according to the standard hat sizing chart shown below.
- Use a good quality tape measure, such as those used for sewing, to achieve the most accurate measurement.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your head. The tape should be placed where you want the hat to rest, usually 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch above the top of your ears. For the best-looking and most comfortable fit, the bottom of the tape should touch your eyebrows while positioned straight around your head. Don't pull the tape too snugly or your hat will fit that tightly.
- Once you've positioned the tape exactly where you want it, measure to the nearest one-eighth inch, or three millimeters.
- Measure your head a second and third time to ensure accuracy.
