The Nutritional Facts Scale

This is the scale that displays the nutritional facts about food items in the same, simple format found on all food product packaging as mandated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Ten key elements of weighed foods are displayed, including calories, calories from fat, carbohydrates, protein, cholesterol, sodium, and more. An internal database stores the nutritional value of 999 foods and has the capacity to memorize an additional 99 foods you can program with the key pad on the scale. Foods can be stored to determine nutritional value of an entire meal or an entire day's consumption. The platform is stainless steel to resist stains and prevent flavor transmission from food to food during weighing. It weighs in either grams or ounces, is accurate to within ±1 gram (or 0.05 oz.), and supports a maximum weight of 72 oz. Includes two AA batteries. 9" L x 5 1/4" W x 2" H. (1 3/4 lbs.)
