This is the only desk lamp that allows you to adjust its hue from a warm, golden accent light to a crisp, white task light that simulates natural sunlight. A four-way directional button provides smooth, continuous adjustment of the color temperature from 2,700º Kelvin--ideal for casting a soft, ambient glow--to 6,500º Kelvin, generating a clear, white light that illuminates crafts, books, or paper work with distortion-free light. The lamp uses a cold cathode fluorescent (CCFL) bulb that produces up to 1000 lumens yet lasts up to 15,000 hours--twice as long as a CFL and 15 times longer than an incandescent. The lamp also adjust for brightness, the lampshade tilts up to 90º, and the arm tilts forward or backward and locks into place at the desired position.
