These are the delectable Italian treats made from nougat, liqueur-soaked sponge cake, and dark chocolate. Known as “pannardini,” the confections are handcrafted in the Campania region of Italy by a fourth generation run family business. Nestled in the center of each bite is freshly baked sponge cake infused with Italian dessert liqueur and surrounded by soft nougat made with simple ingredients such as sugar, almonds, honey, and egg whites. The treats are then enrobed with dark chocolate and individually wrapped. 5% alcohol content. Includes two bags of 14 pieces: 28 total.
