The Periodical Illuminating Magnifier

This is the illuminated magnifier that reduces eyestrain while reading periodicals. Unlike rimmed, circular magnifying lenses, this model has a rectangular, rimless lens that provides distortion-free, 2.2X magnification of four lines of text in a newspaper or magazine column. Made by Eschenbach, renowned German manufacturers of precision optics since 1913, the magnifier's 80º sloped lens is placed directly on top of reading material (not held above), resulting in a more comfortable, natural reading position. The LED produces bright, focused white illumination that reduces eyestrain.
