The Portable Wooden Marionette Theater

This is the portable wooden theater that fits onto a table as small as 24" x 12" in seconds, allowing children or adults to stage performances using three included marionettes. Resting stably on two wooden supports, the theaters exterior is decorated in festoons and columns, and it has a removable medieval motif backdrop made of canvas that is painted to convey a sense of stage depth; red velvet curtains frame either side of the stage. The theater includes three marionettes: a horse, prince, and princess, each decorated in medieval raiment. Made from hardwood sanded smooth and painted in a high-gloss lacquer that will not chip or fade, they have hinged arms, and legs that move when controlled by their built-in handles. Ages 3 and up.
