The Professional Roomba

This is the most advanced Roomba available, specially designed to clean large, open floor plans and high-traffic areas on a single charge. Made by iRobot, developers of tactical reconnaissance robots for the U.S. military, Roomba analyzes the dimensions of a room, determines the optimal cleaning path, and navigates autonomously to clean every inch of floor while circumventing furniture and stairs. An enhanced battery allows the device to clean up to four 12' x 12' rooms before automatically returning to its base to recharge, and the high-capacity bin enables the professional Roomba to collect 3 1/2X more debris than previous generations. The vacuum's brushes sweep dirt into its built-in vacuum on the first pass and automatically reverse their rotation when they sense rug fringe or cords. The cleaning head automatically adjusts to accommodate carpets and floors and two included Virtual Wall lighthouses project infrared beams that confine the vacuum to one room, direct it to another room when it is finished cleaning, and guide it back to the recharging base. The professional Roomba can be scheduled to automatically clean up to seven times per week or prompted to spot clean with the touch of a button.
