This is the drone that soars in the sky like its prehistoric progenitor while capturing video footage of the lands below. With a 13 3/4"-wide wingspan, the pterodactyl flies forward/backward, turns left/right, hovers laterally, and changes altitude with the aid of four gyroscopically balanced three-blade propellers. Controlled from up to 160' away by its radio remote, the pterodactyl’s forward-mounted camera captures 96 dpi still images and 480p video from beneath the creature’s beak and stores footage on an included 4GB SD card. The camera’s angle can be manually adjusted and the drone flies with three speeds. Flies up to 6 1/2 minutes from a 1 1/2-hour charge. Remote requires four AAA batteries. Ages 14 and up.
