Product Story

This is the limited edition coin—one of only two in existence—that honors the late Queen Elizabeth II by replicating the shape of The Imperial State Crown she wore during her coronation in 1953. Symbolizing the sovereignty of the reigning monarch, it is a priceless piece of the Crown Jewels (located in the Tower of London) of the United Kingdom. Minted in 99.9% pure silver (35.48 Troy ounces, amounting to just over one kilogram of silver), this coin's obverse is encrusted with 70 hand-set diamonds symbolizing each year of her reign, enhanced with seven colored crystals, and accented in regal purple. At 3 5/8" wide by 4 3/4" H, it is one of the last legal tender coins ($25 issued by the nation of Samoa) to bear the Queen's effigy. Not eligible for promotions.
