Approved by the Red Cross, this is the weather alert radio that uses Specific Area Message Encoding (S.A.M.E.) technology to notify you when there is severe weather in your area. A light bar across the top of the unit displays one of three colors (green, orange, or red) to indicate the level of intensity. It provides clear reception of AM/FM stations and seven NOAA weather bands. With six presets, a digital alarm clock, and angled stand. AC adapter or three AA batteries (required). 7" L x 4" W x 1 1/2" D. (8 oz.)
