This is the cordless red light therapy wand that helps prevent or reduce the duration of painful cold sores and canker sores. Its medical grade 80 milliwatt (mW) LED generates red light (630nm-660nm) and near infrared light (850nm-940nm) which research has shown to be particularly effective in treating cold sores. When used at the first sign of a cold sore, the device may diminish the period of the outbreak or even stop it from surfacing. It also generates 460nm blue light to help keep skin clean and prevent outbreaks. With narrow or wide beam settings and auto shut-off. Recommended for 2-3 treatments per day.
