Modeled on a modern AWACS jet, this remote control plane has a detachable digital camera that takes still photos from hundreds of feet above the ground, allowing you to reconnoiter your area. The camera records up to 26 VGA (640 x 480 resolution) photos at the push of a button which can then be easily downloaded to any PC. Crafted from durable, lightweight EPP foam, the oversized model plane--with a nearly 5' wingspan--has a 1,000' range and has two ducted fan jets that allow it to soar for seven minutes on a single charge, guided by a remote transmitter that controls climbing, diving, and turns. Despite the craft's advanced features, flight control is easy to learn for beginners, and the simple assembly takes less than two minutes. Two rechargeable batteries are included for repeated flights. Controller requires six AAA batteries. Ages 12 and up.
