This is Scooba 450 (invented by the creators of the Roomba), a robot that autonomously sweeps, pre-soaks, scrubs, and squeegees hard-surface floors. Three times as effective as previous generations, this Scooba 450 automatically moves in a precise, methodical pattern, sweeping up loose dirt then emitting a cleaning solution while a rotary brush gently scrubs at over 600 rpm, eliminating up to 99.3% of common household bacteria like E. Coli and Staphylococcus. With 40- and 20-minute cleaning cycles, the robot cleans tile, stone, linoleum, and sealed hardwood floors without excessive moisture. A dual-compartment tank keeps dirty and clean water segregated—Scooba will never put dirty water back onto your floor. Its compact design allows Scooba to reach under cabinets and integrated sensors enable it to circumvent furniture, carpet, and stairs. An included virtual wall projects infrared beams that confine the floor washer to one room.
