The Royal Navy Submariner's Sweater

This is the sweater made to the same specifications of those issued by the Royal Navy to submariners during World War II. Just like the originals worn by officers, the sweater is made from 100% merino wool and hand-framed with the classic rolled neck to provide additional warmth. Made by Original Montgomery, crafters of fine English knitwear since 1896, the sweater’s soft, warm, and durable wool fleece has a tight weave that creates a reliable barrier to blustery conditions at Her Majesty’s naval base Clyde or during brisk Manhattan commutes. The sweater has a drop-shoulder design—intended originally to ensure comfortable fit for officers of all sizes—and a snug, tailored feel that still allows freedom of movement. Navy or Ecru.
