Your HD footage can be viewed on the large built-in 2 3/4" LCD viewfinder screen which includes user-friendly touchscreen menu options, or on an HD-compatible television using the included high-quality component video cable (footage will appear in standard resolution on a non-HD display). For simple, full-featured video editing on your PC or Mac, a built-in iLINK (Firewire) jack quickly and efficiently sends digital video to and from your computer, while a USB port allows you to transfer digital still pictures. To capture HD footage in even the lowest light, the lens and imaging chip will shoot in settings as low as seven lux (rated: Super Low Light); a NightShot option shoots infrared footage in complete darkness. For action shots worthy of the professional-quality HD images, a Super Steadyshot setting helps to stabilize camera vibrations and bumps, or keep a moving subject steady.
