From the Smithsonian Institute, this is the microscope that lets young biologists explore the natural world. It provides three different magnification lenses (150X, 450X, 900X) and contains a mirror that provides natural light as well as a built-in LED for additional illumination of specimens. The set includes a scalpel, spatula, stirring rod, tweezers, test tube (with cap), petri dish, pipette, and two specimen vials. Requires two AA batteries. Ages 8 and up. 12" H x 3 3/4" W x 12" D.
