From the Smithsonian Institute, this is the NASA Discovery space shuttle drone that lets young astronauts pilot pretend missions throughout the solar system. This drone has four 21/2" diam. propellers that enable it to take off, land, and engage in a variety of in-air maneuvers including flying sideways. The dual throttle remote control has a 75" range and contains six buttons including one-button take-off/landing and trim functions. The drone is decorated with NASA-inspired decals and has an optional lighting feature. Includes replacement propellers and a themed book and pen. Drone charges via USB; a full charge provides up to eight minutes of flight. Remote requires three AAA batteries. Ages 10 and up. 8" L x 8" W x 3 1/2" H. (2 1/2 lbs.)
