This is the excavation kit from the Smithsonian Institute that lets children unearth a full T-rex skeleton as well as real gemstones. It challenges children to dig up “fossils” using included tools that allow them to scrape away and clear the non-toxic sand block. There is even a fine brush to gently clean dust just like professional field scientists do. Includes one T-rex sand block and one gemstone sand block. Ages 8 and up.
