Unlike typical tabletop saltwater aquariums with ineffective filtration, this superior aquarium filters the water 5X more often to maintain a clean, oxygenated environment. A silent filtration system circulates the 3-gallon aquarium's water through a carbon-infused, fine mesh filter 20 times every hour, removing impurities, excess food, and waste. The included air pump automatically provides proper aeration to foster a sustainable saltwater environment for yellowtail damsel, firefish, or other small fish. The 16"-diameter aquarium sets up unobtrusively on a table and its dome is made from scratch-resistant, marine-grade acrylic, creating a 360° oceanic vista. The dome and base are connected by thick, clear plastic accordion sheeting and when the dome is lifted it more than doubles the capacity of the aquarium, allowing you to clean the aquarium without having to remove the water or fish.
