The Walker's Path Illuminating Belt

This is the hands-free safety light for walkers and runners that is worn comfortably around the waist to illuminate the path ahead. The 100-lumen LED on the belt can be set to three different light intensities, and adjusted 110° horizontally for use as either a wide-angle floodlight or narrow spotlight. A Fresnel lens focuses the LED ouput like a lighthouse, so walkers can see the road with the same ease that cars can see them. Rear-mounted red LEDs and reflective orange detailing provide visibility to vehicles approaching from behind. Unlike headlamps, the belt-mounted light provides pinpoint accuracy without washing out, and it doesn't perturb fellow walkers when turning toward them. Two pockets hold keys, energy bars, and other small gear. Belt is lightweight, breathable nylon hex-mesh. Includes 3 AA batteries. 4" H x 9" W x 9" D. (1 1/4 lbs.)
