This is the coat impeccably tailored from cashmere fibers that have been waterproofed, rendering them immune to the ambient moisture of fog or the persistent battering of rain. Each cashmere fiber averages less than 15 microns in thickness and over 36mm in length--compared to the 15-micron or more thick 30mm length fibers used in other cashmere garments--resulting in a softer 1/20 yarn with exceptional strength and durability. The cashmere fibers are specially treated to withstand moisture, yet still retain their renowned softness and thermal properties that allow their original bearers--Alashanzuoqi white cashmere goats--to endure the harsh, high-altitude winters of Inner Mongolia's Alashan plateau. It is lined with 100% Bemberg viscose that serves as a breathable vapor barrier, allowing your body's moisture to escape while preventing moisture from penetrating. It has two front slash-pockets lined with New Zealand lambskin and two interior breast pockets. It has a two-way zippered front covered by a self placket. Mocha. Imported.
