The Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the wireless system that monitors the air pressure of all four tires and displays their readings inside a car. The system comes with four sensors that simply twist onto tire valves (in lieu of the original caps) and send real time pressure readings to the solar-powered dashboard monitor. The monitor simultaneously displays all four readings from 0-72 Psi and provides visual and audible alerts if any tire falls below the pre-programmed threshold for ideal pressure. The sensors also detect tire temperature and excessive air loss (from a tear or puncture) and send alerts to the display, helping to reduce uneven tire wear, improve handling, and even save fuel.
