Used by the National Science Foundation’s Division of Polar Programs at the South Pole, this Canadian-made garment meets the challenges of severe cold. The durable outer shell has a Teflon fabric protector for long-term water repellency and is filled with high-insulation duck down for unequalled warmth. An inner adjustable drawcord at the waist, a pile-lined internal beard guard, and a three-piece hood with drawcord and coyote-fur ruff seal in heat.
It has wrist-hugging inner-sleeve storm cuffs, a Velcro-seal storm flap over a two-way zipper, four outer bellows pockets, and side-entry pockets, plus two additional inside pockets (one zippered). The poly/cotton shell has a down-proof nylon lining and duck-down fill.
