Winner of multiple awards including Parents Best Toy Award and Time Best Invention Winner, these are the calming plush animals that help reduce stress and bring comfort. Similar to a weighted blanket, the relaxation-inducing animals apply deep touch pressure therapy to provide proprioceptive input to the brain, simulating the benefits of a hug. As during a hug, skin sensations occur that trigger the body to release its natural hormones serotonin and dopamine, helping children or adults feel safe and comforted. Filled with non-toxic glass beads sewn into a removable insert. Machine washable exterior. Ages 2 and up. Seated 11" H. (4 1/2 lbs.)
