Soft chenille wraps high-density foam over a metal frame, and a lumbar pillow comes along for upright sitting. The padded armrest hides a storage compartment, which keeps the remote, a paperback, or reading glasses within reach instead of wandering off. Add a second one and the two connect into a small sectional.
It ships compressed and vacuum-sealed, so give it five to eight hours after unpacking to reach its full shape. Then the den, home office, or spare room gains a place to sit and a place to sleep, without surrendering the floor space of a full-size bed.
