By mid-afternoon on a long visit, everyone’s restless and the card table has seen enough action. This is the game to bring out next, indoors or out.
Set up the target backdrop on its motorized base, and the target slides back and forth on wheels. Start in the predictable setting while everybody gets the hang of it, then switch to unpredictable once the hits start coming easily. Each player gets a ball blaster and 12 foam balls, and the mini footballs and baseballs let you toss by hand for a different kind of contest.
Plan on a little assembly; the frame goes together from 28 pieces. The game runs on four AA batteries, which aren’t included. The maker recommends it for ages 8 and up, though you may find the grown-ups asking for a turn.
