The florist’s pomander, that tight sphere of blooms suspended above a wedding aisle or a reception table, is one of the loveliest things in any room. Its one drawback is that real flowers give it a single evening before they begin to fade.
This pair captures the same effect in a form that lasts. Each sphere is built from white roses gathered in close clusters, forming a full, rounded ball about 9 inches across. A light dusting of silver glitter across the petals adds a soft shimmer as guests pass beneath, and an attached loop makes hanging a simple matter.
Two of them make symmetry easy: one at each side of an archway or a doorway, or both above a holiday table. Weddings, showers, anniversaries, and the Christmas season all benefit, and the arrangement looks just as fresh at the last of them as at the first.
