Any parent or grandparent knows the nightly request: one more story. By the third retelling of the same favorite, the well has run dry. Powerman Max steps in with a Story Maker that can assemble up to 10,000 funny tales, along with 10 of Aesop’s fables for a calmer end to the evening.
Daytime brings its own challenge, which is finding play that teaches something. More than 300 quiz questions across six learning activities cover numbers, animals, daily life, and musical instruments. The robot talks entirely in English, tells jokes, plays music, and dances with light and sound effects.
For a child curious about how machines follow instructions, Powerman can be programmed with up to 40 actions, and music can be added to save a custom dance routine. Speak to him and he repeats the words back in a robot voice. The remote is included; seven AA batteries are needed. With him on the shelf, both ends of the day are covered.
