A writing desk, a console in the hall, the corner of a kitchen counter: these are among the loveliest places to mark the season, yet each is too modest for a floor-standing tree. We sought a tree scaled to precisely those spots, and this one met the brief with considerable grace.
It stands 36 inches tall, with 135 branch tips already dressed in gold berries and gold ornaments. Thirty-five warm white LEDs draw on battery power, which frees it from the nearest outlet, and a remote control operates them from across the room. A bronze-tone base completes the look.
Everything arrives decorated, so the only decision left is where it should go. For an indoor nook that deserves a little ceremony, it makes a gracious answer.
