This POWERCAP from Panther Vision builds a four-LED system into a classic structured cap of cotton twill. Two kinds of illumination share the duty: close-up task lighting for the bolt under the sink or the knot on a fishing line, and a longer reach that shows the path up to 42 feet ahead. With 48 lumens on hand, a late walk with the dog, a campsite after dark, or the back of a deep closet all look a good deal friendlier.

Four CR2032 batteries come included and run up to 43 hours before they need replacing. A two-piece hook-and-loop strap adjusts the fit, and you can choose navy for everyday wear or Mossy Oak camo for the woods. The cap is also washable, a courtesy few flashlights have ever extended.
