Generations of drivers have worked very hard to keep their cars right side up. This little stunt vehicle has politely declined to join them.
Its split-wheel design lets the wheels retract and separate, so it can roll through 360-degree flips and spins that a regular remote control car couldn’t attempt. Four pneumatic tires carry it over dirt, grass and rocks, and when the obstacles run out, it’s happy to tumble over itself instead.
A dual-throttle remote steers it forward, backward, left and right from up to 15 feet away and sends it into spins on command. Four built-in LEDs give it a cosmic glow when it speeds around after dark or through a dimmed room. The car recharges with the included USB cable, and the remote uses two AA batteries. Recommended for ages 8 and up, and found only at Hammacher Schlemmer.
