We are always pleased to find a gift that takes up little room and returns a good deal of fun. This set of four pocket games, two XyloWhizz and two ReactionWhizz, clips onto a key ring, a backpack, or a purse strap, and each one offers a proper challenge in the palm of the hand.
XyloWhizz is a miniature xylophone with seven light-up keys. Play your own tunes, or take on its memory game, in which the keys light in sequence and you repeat the pattern, a little faster each round. ReactionWhizz tests reflexes instead: press each button as it lights, and keep pace as the tempo climbs.
Batteries are included, so every game is ready the moment it’s unwrapped. With four in the set, there are enough to fill several stockings or keep two players competing in a waiting room or on a long drive. The only real difficulty is putting one down.
