For generations, the sock drawer and the shoebox in the closet have quietly served as the family vault, and everyone in the house knew exactly where to look. This compact steel lock box offers a better arrangement, opening only for the fingerprints you’ve registered.
The scanner can store up to 120 fingerprints, enough to enroll a whole household. At about 10½" x 7⅜" x 2", the box slips easily into a nightstand or onto a closet shelf, and a foam liner and removable strap keep jewelry, small electronics, and other small valuables from rattling around. Fasten it down through the pre-drilled holes, or loop the steel cable around a fixed object when you’d rather it stay put.
Four AA batteries power the scanner, and the included back-up keys still open it if those batteries ever run out. At under 4 lbs, it’s easy to bring along on trips, which is more than the sock drawer could ever manage.
