“It also features carpeted side gutters, so the pucks make less of a racket when leaving the table, which is a nice touch.” - Reviewed
Every so often, we come across a piece that honors a classic while quietly adding something new. This 9’ shuffleboard table is one of them. Rustic wood grain, grey carpeted gutters, and K-shaped legs give it the bearing of a well-kept tavern, while LED rails glow along its length as the evening lighting dims.
Its second talent appears once the pucks are put away. A bonus bowling set, with ten pins, a pin setter, and a surround that keeps them from tumbling off the edge, turns the same surface into a miniature lane. For the original game, eight chrome weighted pucks and a supply of shuffleboard powder keep every slide smooth.
An AC adapter powers the lighting, and both games arrive ready to play. Guests may find it difficult to choose a favorite, and we suspect that is rather the point.
